5. Konferenz der Commission on European Family Law

Vom 29. bis 31. August findet in Bonn in englischer Sprache die 5. Konferenz der Commission on European Family Law statt. Die Veranstaltung steht unter dem Motto „Family Law and Culture in Europe: Developments, Challenges and Opportunities“. Organisatoren sind das Institut für Deutsches, Europäisches und Internationales Familienrecht der Universität Bonn unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Nina Dethloff und das Käte Hamburger Kolleg „Recht als Kultur“. Mitglieder des wissenschaftlichen Komitees sind u.a. die Bergmann/Ferid/Henrich-Autoren Prof. Dr. Walter Pintens (Leuven) und Prof. Dr. Dieter Martiny (Frankfurt (Oder)/Hamburg).

Themen der Konferenz sind:

1. Matrimonial property law – the CEFL Principles on Property Relations between Spouses

2. International couples and their property relations – The proposed EU Regulations regarding matrimonial property regimes and the property consequences of registered partnerships

3. Inheritance and compensation rights for non-formalized partnerships – Recent legislation on cohabitation

4. Biological, social and legal parentage.

Den Auftakt der Veranstaltung bildet am Donnerstag dem 29.8. um 16 Uhr 30 ein Vortrag von Susanne Baer, Richterin am Bundesverfassungsgericht, zum Thema „"Family": Fundamental Rights and the Challenge of Change“.
